Sales Advisor

We offer world class training so that you get the knowledge you need to give our customers the best experience in store and on top of that you get to work with the latest technology. As a Sales Advisor in our stores, you will be the essence of a customers’ experience.  You will be passionate and excited about meeting people and building relationships, understanding customers’ needs and connecting them with the right solutions.

KNOWHOW Advisor

Logistics & Supply Chain

Our Branch Fulfilment Centre Operation

Our Branch Fulfilment operation in Newark is responsible for getting stock to our Stores country-wide. It’s a large-scale Store replenishment function fed by two operations within the same storage facility.  The larger of the two operations is where products are picked by our Warehouse Operatives using a hand-held radio data terminal and the majority of picks are carried out using MHE.  The second picking facility is our Small Products Warehouse (SPW), where we have a dynamic, semi-automated picking system and Warehouse Operatives pick products via voice-picking headsets.  The SPW also fulfils customer orders for on-line purchases.

Our Home Fulfilment Centre Operation

The Home Fulfilment Centre is the heart of our large products distribution operation - it is the national distribution centre for all large products, operating 24hrs / 7 days a week supplying our Customer Service Centres, which are located across the country.

Our Customer Repair Centre

Boasting an impressive repair lab, our Customer Repair Centre (CRC) was officially opened in March 2010. The CRC repairs products covered under Dixons WEH policies, repairs products under manufacturer warranty and also offers a chargeable repair option for customers to use if they have bought their product from a non-Dixons company.  Predominantly, we repair Notebooks, televisions and Desktops, but also repair Apple products, DVD players, monitors, tablets and games consoles.  Our trained engineers will repair over 500,000 products per year at the CRC.

Contact Centre

KNOWHOW Customer Contact Centre

At our lively and modern Customer Contact Centre in Sheffield you’ll find a fantastic team of c1,400 experts helping customers every step of the way. Our aim is to never leave a customer to fend for themselves. On top of that we have a state of the art working environment with a subsidised restaurant, games consoles, pop up boutiques and stalls, fun activities and our very own social club!

 

Sales Advisor

As a Sales Advisor in our busy contact centre you will aim to bring technology to life on the in-bound customer sales enquiries. With a desire to ensure customers receive the best possible advice and to achieve sales for the group as a whole, you will be passionate about our latest gizmos and gadgets and keeping the customer in the know!!

Customer Service Advisor

Providing customers with advice and solutions to meet their needs is of prime importance in our CSA roles. With your positive outlook  and  the desire to make sure customers are treated politely and  professionally, you will ensure all customer queries are resolved. Keeping customers happy will be of prime importance to you.

Technical Support Advisor

Whilst you will receive comprehensive training on how to assist our customers with technical queries, it is important that you have a passion for technology and understand how the products function. Either through your studies or your work experience your enthusiasm, technical understanding and customer flair will shine through in this rewarding varied role.

Head Office Functions

Retail Support Centre (RSC):

Working in support of over 23,000 colleagues, the Head Office functions based in Hemel Hempstead, Newark and Sheffield provide essential services to the business, including Commercial, Marketing, e-Commerce, Finance, Information Systems and Human Resources to ensure we continue to deliver a first class shopping experience for our customers.

Commercial

Whether you join us at graduate level or as part of our senior management team we will invest in your career through our commercial development programme. Working within one of our category teams: White Goods, Consumer Electronics or computing, our Commercial team works tirelessly in support of our customers to source leading edge products that present exceptional value,  which are underpinned by uncompromising service  and peace of mind. 

e-Commerce

At the forefront of our strategy working in the e-Commerce team offers a great opportunity to deliver a compelling multichannel proposition.  Bricks and mortar retailing are no longer enough and we are investing heavily to ensure that we are at the forefront of providing the greatest range of channels for our customers to engage with us.  In a landscape that continues to evolve rapidly, your analytical and creative e-commerce skills will be continually stretched and put to excellent use.
